Origami Dripper

The Craft of Extraction: Origami Dripper – Ceramic

The Origami Dripper is a functional work of art, inspired by the ancient Japanese tradition of paper folding. Crafted in Gifu, Japan, using Mino-yaki porcelain, this dripper is prized by World Brewers Cup champions for its precise geometry and exceptional thermal mass.

Mino-yaki Porcelain Architecture

The ceramic construction provides significant thermal inertia, which, when properly preheated, maintains a rock-solid brewing temperature. Its 20-rib design isn’t just aesthetic; it serves a vital technical purpose. By minimizing the contact area between the paper and the dripper wall, the Origami M ensures optimal airflow and prevents the vacuum effect, allowing the brewer to push for finer grind settings without the risk of clogging.

Dual-Filter Functionality

Whether you prefer the clarity of a conical filter or the even extraction of a flat-bottom wave filter, the Origami M accommodates both. This allows you to toggle between a bright, tea-like structure and a heavy, syrupy mouthfeel using the same brewing tool.
