Agropecuaria Hellen was established by William Mora Moreno in 2017. His daughter Helena Mora now leads the operation. They preserve 50% of the farm as natural forest, a deliberate choice that shapes the soil, the microclimate, and the cup.
Specializing in anaerobic and natural processing, Helena is producing some of the most complex naturals in Costa Rica.
El Mudo was our first purchase from Costa Rica. This coffee is why we kept sourcing from there.
We’re visiting the farm later this year.
