About salmiak
Salmiak is salty liquorice flavoured with ammonium chloride, a taste that is widely loved in Finland and the other Nordic countries. If you have not tried it before, expect a distinctly salty, slightly sharp flavour that is quite different from sweet liquorice. The sweeter salmiak liquorice and foam dragées in the mix are a gentler place to start.
